On the 29th June 2017 the This Morning team broadcast the ‘This Morning Wedding’ live from the shard.
The 95 story Shard in the center of London was a spectacular location for the live wedding event. The COFDM video microwave equipment provided by Broadcast Wireless Systems performed flawlessly and beamed images across the crowded skies of London directly into ITV studios where the receiver was located. The low latency link allowed the whole event to happen in real time.
