HACKETTSTOWN, NJ, November 13, 2019 — Vislink Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: VISL) announces that it has received an order with an approximate value of $160,000 from a leading national broadcast organization in the North Africa region for wireless video systems. The order is in addition to the recently received $3 million in new orders and order backlog amounts that were announced on Nov. 6, 2019.
To fulfill the client’s requirements, Vislink designed and configured a fully integrated wireless video transmission system capable of supporting demanding institutional, social, cultural, and sporting events. Among the unique challenges the Vislink system addressed was the need to be lightweight, easy to use and should support very low delay while maintaining very good signal strength. Vislink created a solution that featured its latest HCAM transmitter based on HEVC and supporting LMS-T modulation and receiver systems with camera control that could guarantee robust performance, maximum transportability and flexible coverage support.
“We continue to see strong demand from new growth areas we are pursuing, particularly in demanding live production applications,” said John Payne, President and COO of Vislink. “Audiences around the world want to feel they are at the heart of the action of their favorite events, especially when it comes to sports. Our solutions allow broadcast professionals to deliver that experience. With our financial turnaround completed, we are pleased to be able to focus on growing our order backlog with wins like this one.”
