MEDIA ASSET MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

The ASTRA MAM enables site-wide or multi-site desktop management for all high-res and low-res content. The ASTRA MAM database links to all other storage devices to provide a central point for media management. A rules-based transfer engine automates transfer and operations between multiple systems to simplify day-to-day operations.

Master Control Automation Tools

Specializing in multi-channel systems, ASTRA MCR automates all master control room functions. It controls ingest, QC, playout, routers, master control switchers, routers, graphics and other devices. Single and multi-site operations are supported with full redundancy or selected redundancy as needed.

Master Control Channel-in-a-Box

Redwood Play provides industry-leading master control branding and playout.  Depending on the model, Redwood Play has six or eight DVEs and two or four SDI inputs. All models have four HD video playback channels, four stereo audio players, four stereo mic/line inputs, an audio mixer, graphics with 32 layers of compositing, and a Character Generator able to receive external data feeds for crawls, tickers etc. It has a multiviewer, MAM, traffic interface, and workflow management.

 It’s part of Aveco’s platform that includes high-end production and playout automation for discreet devices, as well as the industry’s first studio-in-a-box.

 Redwood Studio is the industry’s first News Studio in a Box. It’s specifically designed for the complexity of news and production studios with smaller budgets. By integrating a powerful graphics, playout, and switcher engine, combined with Aveco´s existing ASTRA Studio 2 control interface, users get functionality traditionally available only in much more expensive and complex products.
