4T2-Rack receiver

The 4T2-Rack receiver monitoring instrument is the off-air variant of the 4T2-Rack demodulator. The systems are offering 4 slots that can be equipped with any combination of measurement hardware based on XTASI modules. Each input is analysed by one instance of the 4T2 Content-Analyser. Remote Control is achieved by implementing the DVB-SNMP interface to ensure seamless operation with third party network management software. The instruments are prepared to be integrated into a network with a Gbit-ethernet interface. Relay contacts are available for local alarming.

4T2-Portable

The system combines real-time measurements of RF modulation parameters (COFDM, 8VSB) with MPEG transport stream analyser functions in a robust and easy to carry instrument. The 4T2TM 2012 release integrates the latest processing platform with a 15.4″” 1400×900 screen, i7 quad-core processor, and SATA-3 SSD. All programs in the transport stream are decoded at the same time by the 4T2TM-Content-Analyser. This includes MPEG-4 H.264 high definition video material.

4T2-Rack demodulator

The 4T2-Rack demodulator transmitter monitoring instrument is the latest generation of terrestrial measurement systems (DVB-T/T2, ATSC), combining comprehensive real-time monitoring of RF-parameters, and transport stream sources at the same time. The system utilises ABC’s unique hybrid demodulator technology, designed for better than 40dB MER measurement performance at the output of a transmitter.

XTASI

ABC XTASI are USB-powered modules to turn a laptop-, or tablet computer into an economic broadcast measurement system. The XTASI family consists of DVB-T/-T2 RF input, DVB-ASI input, and DVB-ASI output modules. Powered through USB 2.0 interface, machined, anodised aluminium housing (lifetime warranty), low weight, small form factor (100 · 16 · 42) mm.

Allows Impulse Response analysis with SFN transmitter power & frequency-offset measurements. Coverage analysis of up to 3 channels with logging of GPS coordinates and map display.
