Quincy, Illinois, USA – IIC Acquisitions, founded by BE’s VP of Engineering, Brian Lindemann (pictured), has acquired all outstanding units and increased ownership in Broadcast Electronics to 100%.
“This is a great day for BE and a great day for our customers,” said Tom Beck, President and CEO. “BE has been owned by a number of private equity firms over the years and this is the right ownership direction at the perfect time as we look to the future. With Brian as owner, there is no doubt that we will be able to focus even more on customers and the best equipment to serve their needs.”
Lindemann joined BE as VP of Engineering in 2008. Prior to BE, his career included design and development of high tech communication products. Brian holds eight patents and specializes in waveform generation with an emphasis on hardware/software co-design. Lindemann is also a Six Sigma Black Belt.
I recognize the potential for this company and am excited about this next step in my career at BE,” said Lindemann. “BE’s name is very well known and our history includes serving thousands of customers worldwide with both our transmitters and our AudioVAULT automation software. From the business view, we have had three terrific years and have had a great start in 2016. I am excited about our near and long-term prospects and once again putting our focus in the technology arena. Acquiring BE is a no-brainer for me and I am really looking forward to our future.”
